So today I went and donated my blood! I love to donate, makes me feel like a hero!!! This was my 12 time donating. I am 4 more donations away from 2 gallons! I have donated in 3 different states too, Arizona, California and Colorado!
The sucky part is this donatin seemed to have taken more out of me than usual. After I was donating I stayed in the canteen area longer than I usualy do. After just walking a short distance I had a head ache and I had to take a break. Good thing Sara (my sis) called me. It took longer than usual to walk to the restaurants. I was glad I had water with me. I still haven't gotten rid of the head ache. I just hope I don't get sick cause then I have to call Bonfils...I don't know what will happen to my blood then. I just hope its cause I am a bit more tired than usual.
I was able to grab some pictures while I was out.
A quick shot of a bear. There seem to be several bear statues int he Denver West area..I wonder why that is?
I felt exactly like that bear by the time I had walked from Bonfils to Tokyo Joe's.
Look flowers...NOT in my backyard XD I finished up my convo with my sis and I quickly snapped this pic before running off to over fill my belly. Food good!
So like always, and mostly because I can't help myself I entered the Barnes & Noble a few doors down from Tokyo Joe's. I was of course making a b-line for the manga (I only had so much time until my bus came) and I walked passed the bargain books and I notice something out of the corner of my eye. A very familiar cover to a certain book I have been wanting for years and was not quite sure I would ever get a chance to own. I walked about 5 steps before it really clicked and I stopped and promptly turned around. Just my luck I had found Gorillaz Rise of the Ogre; Now how much was it?? $7.85 I squeeed. I had literally been looking at buying the book just the night before on Amazon thinking. I grabbed the second one in (the first one looked like it had been looked at a few times. It took everything in me to contain myself. I knew I had a big dumb grin on my face. What can I say I am a fan. I have had Stylo on repeat for the past 2 days (and it was playing in my ears at the moment too) I held the hardbound heavily discounted book of [I'm sure was filled with complete] awesome and walked to the cashier, completely forgetting the manga.
At the time of this blog I am only on page 37 but I am in love!! I just love how this animated fake band is telling their fans of their past from their point of view, with Murdoc at the reigns. I am on very happy fangirl right now!!!
Oh right pictures...
HA! you thought it was going to be of the book! Nope.
I call this one downtown. There is just something about the bus stop at 16th and Lawrence that inspires me to take pics of my surroundings.
Until tomorrow!!
