Good Ending to a Slow Day

Today was one of my lazy days.  I woke up at noon and took a shower.  I read some manga while laying in bed.  I have a light lunch of grilled cheese and apple sauce.  I filled out a few job applications online and made orange juice.  I did my usual daily tasks of doing the dishes and vacuuming the house.

The highlight of my day is always talking to my friends online and while I was doing just that I had HGTV on in the background.  I heard the announcer talking about a 3 story condo in the LA area. (It was House Hunters) and for a split second I thought they were talking about the condo I drew in San Fernando, they of course weren't but that's ok.  I got to searching online, thinking I haven't seen any good pictured of those condos.
Since I was laid off and had to move back to Colorado I have never seen many of the larger projects I worked on completed.  I know they are finished but I have never seen pictures.

My continued search wielded me some luck!  Looking through real estate listings, I knew those would my best bet I found an awesome tour!!  It has the 360 room views as well as many still shots from outside!!  I was in tears as I went through the pictures.  It may seem odd that I would cry over pictures of buildings but let me explain.
Think about something you make.  Think about the labor and love you put into and how happy you are to see it finished.  Now think about from my point of view.  I put in so much work on those condos.  The constant floor plan changes, the city council meetings I went to only to hear the neighbors do nothing but complain.  The details (all those little things you see sticking out of the side of the buildings,) the amount of copies made for the meetings and the paper size wasn't small either.  I saw the site with the original buildings there and when it was graded and even while it was under construction but I never saw the final result.  I put overtime and a years worth of work into those buildings...that is why I cry over these pictures.  They bring back wonderful memories.
Here have a look!

The end units got the 3 cute little windows in one of the master bedrooms.
The kitchen!!!! (with a window)
My favorite exterior shot!!
The back row with trees for a buffer!
One of the entrances! Why yes that is a nice large balcony you see there XD
The space between.  That little entrance was a last minute add to make the front look more appealing.  it worked lol.
The picture credit are not mine, of course, and go to whom ever too them.  If you want to see more pictures including 360 room views check out this web address: http://tour.circlepix.com/tour.htm?id=723486&mls_tour=1

Until tomorrow! (and I will have some pictures I have taken)
