Update?

It seems odd to update a daily blog lol but yeah here is an update!!

This past week has been crazy from roofing to walking dogs in the heat to getting ready for camping!

Today was the busiest!  I had to go exchange thermals for the right kind (I can't read) to getting some last minute groceries for our 4 day camping trip!

I also got a package from Sara!!!!!!!!!  Its funny really; I haven't talked to her for like a month (she has been busy with school and finals)  and she texts me today to say that she sent my package on Wednesday...2 hours later its sitting at our front door!!!  It was packed with goodies!!  I got some Mardi Gras masks (yeah I know late but who cares they are cool!)  Some post cards from a museum she went to as well as a pen and a key chain from the LA Zoo (never had a change to go there during my 4 years there.) There was also the items I had her buy me from Little Tokyo (don't worry I gave her money)  She always remembers to get me some paper stars paper XD.  I also so some sushi erasures!!!  They are soo spiffy and they come apart so I can mis-match them!  There was also some mini glow sticks; there are stir sticks but still mini lol.  I plan on using them this weekend while camping.  I hope to get some very cool pictures!  She also gave me a wallet, I was in need of a new one lol.  It has so many pockets for such a small thing!
Thank you Sara my sister!! I miss you lots and hope you are not stressing on your finals!

Sushi erasers and my dolls hands lol~

I got my glasses today!!!!  I can see its amazing!!  They are a bit too tight though...and of course it took me until this evening for them to really bother me...go figure. Oh well I can see!!!!!
The outside of the frames are black and the rest is red!

I am camping this weekend, so there will not be a new post until probably Wednesday!  Look forward to it!!

BEER!!

Extremely intense in color.  Bold as a charging moose.  Not for the faint of heart. One taste will leave you saying, "Ah wedding brew!" So plant a tree, sow your oats, and drink your brew. The End.
Something old.
Something new.
Something borrowed.
Something brew.
50 years of experience has fostered our collective masterpiece...Wedding Brew!

Last September my friends Jenn and Adam were wed.  They gave this spiffy and very tasty beer to the wedding party...and the helper (me) XD
They designed the label and the funny yet cool text on the side!
I unfortunately had to return the bottle to them due to lack of space in my room but that's ok I have some spiffy photos!  Now if I can just get some wedding pictures from them.....

Backyard of Awesome

I have said it many times on my Deviant Art and now I am going to say it a ton of times here on my blog...I love my backyard!  There are so many different chances for photos!  You will be seeing lots more shots in my backyard with my doll and my figures!

In the mean time have some more nature shots!!
I was standing there waiting for Shinji to finish eating and I just liked the angel.  I went and got my camera and snapped a photo.  I wonder what's wrong with that tree's branch to have all those white spots all over it?
Our grape barber has started to sprout!  In a few weeks it will be covered in large grape leaves and soon yummy purple grapes!!
Snowball bush again!  The snowballs have gotten heavy and they are sagging.  This bunch is laying on the ground.
Chamomile!  mmmmm smells like apples! XD.  I need to pick them before they die and make some yummy tea!  I like how their petals grow down like that.
A yellow bearded iris....one of many dotting our backyard.  The purple ones should bloom sometime when I am camping lol.
Found these hiding behind a fence in my backyard.  They are tiny and pretty!  I must get a picture of them with my doll and my Lelouch figure! XP
Any four leaf clovers?

Until tomorrow!

More Flowers?

Plus some extra random shots.

I don't know whats up with me and flowers lately but I just can't stop taking their pictures!!!
Look who popped up to say hi...a California poppy~
There are a lot of wild flowers in our back yard....and in the yards in the neighborhood...must remember to bring my camera with me when I walk the dogs.

And now for some random shots of things!! XD
Would you believe me if I told you the background is purple?  yeah  I need better lighting and a better camera....or better photoshop shills....or all 3!! XD
Its the cute little my late grandfather made!!  He he has been with me in 4 different states.  Michigan, where he is made, as well as Arizona, California and Colorado.  I made one for my grandmother and grandfather when I was out in Flint for his funeral years ago.  I laid the one I made for my grandfather in his casket and it was cremated with him and the one i made for my grandmother is with her in her room so they can always be together.

Until tomorrow!

Kuroshitsuji Cast Picks!

These are my personal picks for the Kuroshitsuji anime that has recently been licensed by Funimation! These are my picks and NOT the offical cast.

I picked the following voice actors based on the fact that they have been in other Funimation shows (lets face it its cheaper to pull from local talent than to fly them out to Texas.) As well as my personal knowledge of voice actors. I took into account the different voices they have done for Funimaton and to some extent ADV. I thought about the character as well as the Japanese voice actors but keeping in mind that this is an American audience.
I only picked for the main characters as well as supporting character that are in the show more than once or twice; I also considered the characters accent as well as the voice actor's accent or ability to do an accent.

So without further ado here are my pics:

Ciel Phantomhive: Wendy Powell. I chose her because of her low voice.  I believe she can pull off sounding like a kid, but Ciel is a unique child in that he runs a company and I think she could pull off the seriousness of Ciel while still sounding like a child.
Sebastian Michaelis: John Gremillion He has that low voice that makes Sebastian the demon he is.  He also has the smoothness and sexiness to pull off a great Sebeastian.  Plus just thinking of him saying "Yes my Lord" sends shivers down my spine!

Elizabeth: Catlin Glass.
She has a very girly voice; one that I think would be excellent for Elizabeth.  I believe Catlin can pull off the cute girl as well as the few serious moments she has in the series.
Tanaka: John Sweasy
Ho ho ho.  I can’t think of anyone else who to play the lovable old man who drinks too much green tea and can deflate.

Meirin: Monica Rial.
Her voice just scream Meirin.  She can pull off the seriousness of the maid towards the end of the series as well as the clumsiness and the swooning over Sebastian.
Finni: Luci Christian.
She has a wide range of voices and she can pull off a guy without sounding too girly.  Finni doesn't have that deep of a voice and I can't see anyone but Luci Christian doing his voice!
Bard: Chris Sabat.
With his low gruff voice he is perfect for the chef who can't cook.  Not to mention he can be fun as well, just listen to Alex Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

Madam Red: Tiffany Grant.
I chose her cause she can pull off the sophisticated-ness that is Madam Red while still feeling up Sebastian.
Grell: Chris Patton.
Because well it’s Chris Patton he can pull of an awesome Grell!  He is another voice actor with a wide range of voices.  Grell and Chris were meant for each other.
William: Sean Schemmel.
A great voice for a great character!  He can pull off William’s calm cool and collected demeanor with a death scythe that is a tree trimmer.

Lau: Eric Vale.  He has the best creepy yet eccentric voice for him.  A particular voice comes to mind when I think of Eric Vale as Lau and that is Kimbly from FMA and FMA:B; it just works.
Undertaker: Chuck HuberWhen I think Undertaker I think Chuck Huber.  Undertakers laugh also comes to mind and I believe Chuck can pull it off without sounding odd or funny or cheesy.

Soma: Braden Hunt.  He has such a light calm voice, but it is also playful!  CURRY!  I know he doesn’t have an Indian accent but I still think he would make an excellent Price Soma.
Agni: Illich Gardiola.  His accent.  That explains it all.  He has the low voice for Agni and his Right Hand of God.  An example voice that comes to mind is Krad from DN Angel.
Angela: Colleen Clinkenbeard.  She has a low authoritive voice, yet she sounds very feminine.  She can easily voice Angela.
Fred: Travis Willingham.  He has that debonair voice that works for a detective.  It’s not too annoying and not too overly detective sounding.
Viscount Druitt: Vic Mignogna.  Yes he seems to be over casted but he would be perfect for the Viscount.  I can imagine the Viscount with Vic’s voice hitting on Ciel in the lovely pink dress.
That about does it.  Remember these are my personal picks for the English dub cast of Black Butler.  Let me know what you all think!
If you want voice samples check out Anime News Networks voice actor database and then youtube (or your own private collections) for the English dubs the the respective voice actors works.
 Until tomorrow

Retro Post!!

IMAGE HEAVY POST!

So I am very interested in photography...if that wasn't already apparent. I am also very interested in cosplay so why not combine the two!
In January I got together with some of my friends and we had a photo shoot.  This post is all about the winter shoot we did in January of 2010.
Everyone cosplayed in their bed winter Hetalia garb and we met in Washington Park.  Though it is called a winter shoot we had no snow.  All I have to say is go figure Colorado, go figure.

For those not familiar with Hetalia it started off as an online comic by Hidekaz Himaruya.  It gained popularity and was made into an anime.  The story personifies the countries of the world during World War 2.  It is very funny and satirical.
Below are some of my favorite shoots from the shoot.

How about some behind the scenes shots?
Yes plz!

I also did a video of my favorite shots!  Pay attention they tell a story~

From right to left: Canada, America, England, Spain, Denmark, Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, and Ukraine.

A big thanks to everyone who was able to make it!
Here is everyone's Deviant Art pages....they are what made the shoot a success!!

Rain

Ah May in Colorado; the day starts out nice, warm and sunny and ends ok, cloudy and rainy.  Tornadoes ran rampet out on the plains and I got some cool pictures in town.
Looking west as the clouds start to move out...though it started to rain.
Alone in the rain.
Up close and personal!  Bright flash is bright but made for a neat black and white shot.  Its not as dark as it seems.  I was watering my flowers in the rain aka the red neck way of of watering.  I was also listening to the rain fall...it was very peaceful.  Shinji and I enjoyed the nice rainy weather until it started to pour and forced us back in the house.
Saturated color!  Looking through neighbors yards as I'm sitting on my porch steps.

Until tomorrow!
