Relaxation

SOOOOOOOO I have school tomorrow.  I am excited.  It has been 2 years since I have gone to school so I am a little nervous too.  I have to get used to getting up in the morning and catching the bus and all that jazz.  I have no doubt that I will get used to it no time.
I am going to the college early tomorrow to I can get my ID and find all my classes!

ZOMGoodness!!!

It has been way too long!!!  I have been busy!!  I know what your thinking still?  Well yes!  I have had wedding stuff and club stuff and cosplay stuff to finish up!  School starts this Monday and I have Anthropology!  Then on Tuesday I have Math and Photoshop.  On Wednesday I have Art History 2 and math again on Thursday.  No classes on Friday WOOT!!!!

If you couldn't tell I have added some neat features to my blog.   I have some music on my spiffy ipod touch and a map that shows where everyone is who has looked at my blog!  I hope to add more soon!

CRAP!

Well today pretty sucked for me!

I won't go into details but hail hurts when it hits your bare skin!

My little net book is in the shop for repairs....it was being retarded this morning.  Unfortunately as soon as I left and was at my next destination taking pictures I realized that my 4 gig memory card was in the net book......great just great!  Oh well.  It's not like I have anything to read 4 gig memory cards.

This unfortunately means my blog will be on hiatus until I can get it back.....which based on everything i have to do this week is next Monday....that is if they can easily fix it.

but never fear I will keep working on blog posts...if that makes sense.  I will write down any ideas I have for photos and as soon as I get my memory card back I will commence with the taking of pictures!

On some lighter news I got some very spiffy stuff from my friend Riku that she brought me at AX this year. WOO so much Kuroshitsuji stuff I could die!!!  She even found Scuttelbutt and got me a spiffy badge!  For those of you who don't know who Scuttelbutt is they do very awesome badges and have been found at ALA, AX and Ani-Magic!

I do have a certain video stuck in my head....Colorado Girls!  Love that song and the video is funny too!  I can't get over Tom Shane!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! "Now you have a friend in the diamond business."

Ok so once again I am crazy busy!

My to do list:
Finish bridesmaid necklace by 8/12/10 (I need more beads...and I have a coupon!)
Funish Grell cosplay by 9/4/10 (with some minor touch ups between the 6th and 9th)
A Bleach slide show thingy....for the club needs to be done by 9/13/10

Wedding Photo Album by 9/4/10.....the reception is on the 5th.
Create more jewelry for my etsy store.....I need to get people to visit it too!!
Donate blood THIS wednesday.
Return school books.....bought them cheaper online lol
Start school.....ugh school.  I have 4 classes....My brain is going to be all WTF??  I have to think now? (starts the crank and pokes the hamster)

That is a lot to do!!!

Old House is Old

Well you have probably heard by now that last week our house lost power.  It is an old house.  It was build in 1924 and the electrical is original to the house. 
A week ago some wire melted and created an arc.  Meaning the electricity was running through our house with a fuse missing.  Very dangerous.  We turned everything off except the phone and fridge, and I made my way to McDonald's.  Some of you may have remembered the post I did from there lol.  Well the dinning room closes at 11 so afterwords I made my way to the Village Inn (similar to a Denny's for you non Colorado folk).  It was all don in the name of free wi-fi!
The next day we had an electrician come out and see what we had.  He said he need a new junction box and meter on the outside of the house, as per code.  Of course they couldn't be out until the next day.  So I went to Village Inn again. WOO!  I got a free bowl of fruit it was great!
The down side to the lack of electricity is it was frickin' hot in my room!!!!! GAH!
Thankfully at 9 am sharp the electricians were ready to start working!  I had to move some of my things so they could get to a crawl space and ground all that power~

That's the only picture I got before I had to go downtown and run some errands.  That post office was ridiculously hot!

The rest of the piuctures are after I returned home.  The electricians were there ALL day!!

The first thing I saw when I came home was the lack of the meter and an empty box in our kitchen.  I grabbed Haruhi for a quick shot!  Good thing I got this when I did, that thing is sealed now!  This is where our fuse box used to be!

The 2 main fuses!  That thing is made of ceramic.  You can tell when fuse caused the problem.  It got so hot it changed the color of the metal!  It's not supposed to be silver.

The back.  Again you can tell where it got hot!! What ever they used for insulation back then just melted away.

Our whole house ran off 2 circuits.  Of course out house is old and 2 circuits is all they needed back then.  Of course right now all we have is still 2 circuits, we need to get those inspected before we can add more.  Did you know the average kitchen can have up to 8 circuits?

Old wire is OLD!!! and it was insulated with a type of cloth.  That is what is running through the rest of our house!

Yay! a big ugly box on the side of our house!!!

As of right now we are running on 2 15 amp circuits.  We can't use the microwave or have a lot on.  Thankfully though I can have my fan while I sleep....breathing is good!!!

Haruhi Goes On An Adventure

Thanks the disarray of last week and the fact that I have been crazy busy again I have not updated much, for this I apologize.  The good news is I am getting back on track and will hopefully be posting again on a daily/far more often basis.
