You read the title right. I did Christmas shopping on Thanksgiving.
I got up before the sun to go to Big Lots to get my mom her Christmas present.
It was quite the adventure! We went to one Big Lots and I asked a sales person but they only had 4 of that item! The sales lady was nice enough to call a couple other Big Lots to see if they still had the item. We found one and so my dad and I drove fast to the other store. I jumped out of the truck and ran into the store while my dad parked the truck.
When I got in the store I found the item and snatched one up. They had plenty so it wasn't like they were running out or I had to fight for one lol. Though that may have been fun. My dad and I wondered the store for a bit then we paid for it.
My mom was wondering where we went this morning, Ha Ha, it was great.
I got the present wrapped already! I am just that fast!
Well I only have a lot more Christmas things to do before Christmas so I better get stated on them!
Also a great tip for surviving Black Friday is to go Saturday.

NaNoWriMo
So I am half way through nano with 25,126 words! But I still have a long way to go!
Here is an idea of what my story is about:

A collector of myths meets his match in a battle to see who is better evil or good. World domination is also on the list. Many fantastic creatures, betrayal and maybe some love.
Lessons will be learned and heads will roll.
Michael a collector of myths learns of the ultimate prize. Having already caught an angel he sets forth to a tiny town in the middle of the British forest.
My novel idea came from a shot story I wrote back in 2004. In that story Michael had managed to capture and Angel. Sadly his friend Brad let the Angle go. The never stopped Michael from doing more research on myths! Little did he know was he was getting himself into!
My novel is going well. It has pretty much written itself, so long as I don't let myself be distracted by a certain Russia/America fanfic...sigh~
Anyway...
The myth characters are based off some of Soom's dolls. The look is the only think I took. the personalities are all from me. Michael was already kinda there and I created a few other human characters. Arthur Kirkland, yes I know what your thinking and well no its the same Arthur Kirkland. I had the name Arthur and he needed a last name and the first thing that popped into my mind was Kirland and when my brain refused to think of another name it just stuck! My Arthur is nothing like Hetalia's Arthur lol. I also created Emily, she is a bit of a love interest but is mostly there as the voice of reason for Michael. Brad makes a small appearance in the beginning of the story. I am debating on weather or not to have him come in later or not.
And well because most stories I write for me to enjoy Arthur and Alfred form Hetalia as well as Alfred and Ivan make an appearance. But still me gave Ivan more than just a background roll. He ends up pointing Michael in the right direction. Ha Ha. I guess this goes without saying that I can't get this one published but I will go back after the month is over and share the story with you all!
Well I am off to write more words...I'm still a long way off from 50,000!

Probably the tragedy of Moe Hei. She lost her Master in a freak accident and went down a dark path towards the dark side until Yoda saved her. She is very messed up in the brain.

The would have to Lilith. She is such the motherly type. She is often taking care of her sister Orion or her master Dietrich.

Well Michael. He has the tendency to hit on anything that moves and he will get what he wants one way or another.

In the future Orion would be a body guard and rich because she would be damn good at it!

Well TWO lives on and off with Clueless (My friend's OC) but she usually lives alone.
Nine lives with her Aunt but is more often than not shoved onto TWO who has to babysit her.
Starr and Deamon live together. Them being brother and sister they are the only ones they trust and its just easier that way. (FYI there is NO incest!)
Katana lives the one who owns her, but she often escapes and tires to live alone. She also often unwillingly stays with Gerrick. Gerrick is secretly in love with Katana but they are always at each others throats.
Deitrich lives alone with the exception of himself (He is a multiple personality vampire) and his two wolves Orion and Lilith.
Kakakaze lives alone
Crow lives in a house his parents left, with his friend Samantha.
Genzic lives with his master. He'll tell you they have a strictly platonic relationship, his master thinks other wise.

TWO will eat anything, her favorite would probably have to be asian food as she eats more of that than anything else.

I am writting my posts for NDK, I am crazy paranoid about it sounding good so I write my long posts in Word then copy past over here lol
It's late here yet I can't seem to get to sleep!
The excitement is wearing off after what a former friend told me.....sigh that's why I look through my Hetalia pics from NDK and smile again woo!
In the mean time I am trying to figure out where to hang my spify new Code Geass wall scroll!
I am also excited for the Hetalia cosplay picnic in a couple weeks! I am so glad I found some very awesome people to cosplay with!! That has made my...day...week...month...year...life...yes it made my life!

I left the con hours ago and I am still oh so very excited! I met a bunch of Hetalia cosplayers that are nothing short of awesome!
This NDK, no this con has been the best con yet! It was even better than the AXs I have been too!
I will have a post for each day of the con then a post for the very fun Hetalia meet up...I'm sure it will add to the rest of the awesome pics!

Title Picture
So yes I am The Winged One and these are my tales but I also own a BJD! The picture is of Genzic my first and currently only BJD at the moment. Genzic is a Doll Zone Floy, elf boy. I bought him from Denver Doll Emporium. Any more questions feel free to ask!

Inspiration
There are a lot of different reason why I started this blog. The biggest reason is because I want to share things with the world. Not everything as my life will still be private. I was also inspired by a couple different blogs that I read on a regular basis, you'll find the links below.
After looking at their blogs I thought it would be fun to blog about the things I like as well as share some of the things that I like and like to do.
The first blog that I read on a regular basis is dannychoo.com. As my close friends know and my readers will learn I am crazy about anime, manga and everything Japanese and Asian. So what a more perfect blog to read! The thing that I like the most about Danny Choo's blogs is that he is as much of a dork as I am when it comes to anime. Some how meeting or just reading about them online, other people who are as into the stuff you like as much as you are just seems calming. He also proved to me that you can get a job in the otaku industry and love it and succeed at it!
The second blog is one I recently discovered, Metanorn. This is a blog done by two friends and they focus mainly on anime and manga. I liked the color scheme of the page and all the pics at the top of the pages. The thing I learned from this blog is you don't have to be famous or an idol or have a professional career in the anime/manga/otaku industry to start a blog that is interesting.
My goal for my blog is to get at least some people interested in what I say ha ha! I know it won't happen over night but at some point followers would be nice. I also hope to enter a new blog at least once a week, more it I am lucky.
