Every so often

I get a chance to hang with one of my super awesome friends!!  I love Sonder to death! She always manages to ground me in interesting ways!

We hit up Isis Books and browsed their books and stones!
I picked up some more camphor, cause i was out, oops!

I also picked up some stone I plan on wire wrapping and making necklaces out of them.
I got some (not so smokey) smoky quartz, good for protection and grounding.
Dalmatian, good for balancing energy.
Ammonite good for clarity health, well being and dispels negativity.
Calcite good for prosperity.
Black Kyanite good for protection, shielding and grounding.

I also snagged a small cat tarot deck!  It's super adorable and it was just calling to me; just another sign that I need a cat!

Wonder was also awesome enough to gift me a reading with James Wanless who has been reading for over 40 years!  It was a fantastic experience!  He helped me to not be confused about some of my decisions and that going to study abroad in Prague is really something I can achieve and should do!  I just felt really good after the reading.

The cards have helped me in the past with some of other difficult decisions and have never let me down!  I really enjoy tarot.

Of course afterwards we went for froyo!

Later that Evening....

....saw me at my friend Greta's house with Jenn and Sallie!

Every now and then we get together for a girls night!

On this eve we cooked beer brats on the fire, had delicious, delicious shmoes!!!!
(Their called s'mores Buzz)

Of course we had drinks!

Moscow mules are my favorite right now!

We ended the evening with the first two Terminator movies!!  They are so old but so good!
I am looking forward to the new Terminator movie!
Are you?

All pictures were taken on my Samsung Galaxy S5 'cause it's easy and convent.

桜祭

Saturday I went to the Denver Cherry Blossom Festival with Greta.

We each had a delicious drink, mine was the Melon Creamy Soda and her's was the Milk Tea, so good!

We also enjoyed some delicious eats. Chicken teriyaki, spam masubi and tea! So good!

We listened to some traditional Japanese music, and watched various martial arts demonstrations.  We also check out the bans and ikebana displays.

We also looked at some of the venders, lots of neat and unique items! I really love the Asian print fabrics at one booth but alas my pockets were not that deep!

It was crowded with low lighting so I could not stand there long enough for my Cannon to take a picture so I used my camera phone. It really looked that green because of the lights and how green the plants were!

It was fun this year to go with someone who hadn't been before. I'm sad they no long do the oban at the festival but is for another time.

Evening Sky

Here you see the moon in it's native habitat, the sky.
You can also see Jupiter and Venus. (Venus is the brighter one)

Have a close up!

I was at a friends house watering her garden and feeding the guinea pig after a long day at the Renaissance Festival, hence only camera phone.

Work Oppertunity!

I volunteered to help clean up the building after the spring semester but little did I know it would lead to a summer job and an opportunity to help design the space that will be used by my class in the fall semester!

Needless to say I am super stoked!!!

I get to CAD, yes I am using it a a verb, which is always a plus!!!

This is great because I get more experience and I get to help with a space I will be using!! WOOT!

Pictures to come soon, I hope.
